Everyone has their own speciality, and ours is Technology Management. Our job at 100% Helpdesk is to manage technology so that you don’t have to worry about it.
In our industry, the things we do are often referred to as “managed services” and “hosting” but these descriptions do not tell the whole story.
Managed services is a term that means servicing computers and network components within an organization. The external view of that means computer repair, software upgrades, troubleshooting, asset management, and other tasks. These are good examples of outcomes, but the less obvious part is the decision making that goes into it.
By helping business owners make decisions about which technologies to use or how to use them, we make the implementations easier. Easier means less expensive, less time to deploy, fewer complications, and fewer breakdown. Easier means higher productivity from the start.
Sometimes we work with a client to augment to their existing resources, and sometimes we work as the primary provider of technology and de facto IT manager, making recommendations to the business owner. There are many ways for us to help.
Technology is not limited to in-office hardware. We manage websites and servers for clients. These may be simple WordPress based websites, custom Java J2EE sites, custom Linux servers, Microsoft IIS websites or various other specialized configurations. Our team is familiar with a wide range of Internet technologies in order to provide both breadth and depth of expertise to our clients.
In addition to computer/network management and website management, we also spend time with clients on strategic planning. Our planning contribution always has an eye on technology, but for the purpose of supporting the goals of the business. The technology in your business should not have goals of its own – only goals that support and enhance the overall enterprise. We have the necessary experience to be able to meet with business owners or their management teams to help set the direction for the company.
Our goal is to leave you with peace of mind, knowing that good decisions are being made, industry best practices are being followed, and that you are not being left vulnerable because of things that are beyond your expertise.
